Chaudhry Shafay Hussain, Provincial Minister for Industries, Commerce and Investment, stated that Punjab is steadily moving toward economic stability under the leadership of Maryam Nawaz. He emphasized that the provincial government has introduced several initiatives to strengthen the industrial sector and support investors.

Speaking about national security, he praised the role of the Pakistan Army in combating terrorism and protecting the country. He said the armed forces remain fully committed to safeguarding Pakistan, while the nation stands united against terrorism and extremist activities.

Shafay Hussain also highlighted the progress made in the industrial sector over the past two years. Plans are underway to expand existing industrial zones and establish new industrial estates in Sahiwal and Sialkot to promote economic growth and create employment opportunities.

Discussing public welfare initiatives, he noted that the provincial government has launched several programs to support farmers, improve transport systems, and enhance public safety. Projects such as electric buses, Safe City programs, and agricultural support schemes aim to improve the quality of life for citizens.

He also reaffirmed that Pakistan Muslim League (Q) plans to actively participate in upcoming local government and regional elections. Reflecting on his political journey since 2004, Shafay Hussain said he continues to follow the values of tolerance and respect promoted by his father, Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain.
